Chris Andrew
founder & host
Born and raised in Bow, New Hampshire, Chris recently ventured from the east coast to the peace coast to get some California flavor. From 8-5 he can be found solving problems for small businesses at Intuit, and at night he’s usually out for a run, cooking, or coming up with his next big idea. A few things he can’t ever have enough of: Boston Red Sox, Buffalo Bills, Bubble Tea, and 100 Grand Bars.
Gretchen Andrus
founder & host
Born with a natural aversion to vegetables and a serious addiction to Eggo Waffles, Gretchen's life and eating habits drastically changed upon falling in love with Chris Andrew (having a boyfriend who can cook is as sexy as it sounds). Hard at work achieving a degree in Business Information Systems at Boston College, when she should be studying she is preparing and consuming fine food, jumping over hurdles into water, and haggling in farmers’ markets. Her life provides compelling evidence that good taste can be acquired. Favorite food, crescent rolls cooked over a campfire. Life goal – eat something she has shot.
Jeff Magee
technologist & host
Jeff Magee is a New Hampshire native, taking an indefinite break from clam chowder and the word "wicked" to sink into the west coast lifestyle. During the week he works at Yahoo! in Santa Clara, saving the world one internet advertisement at a time. On the weekends he's the man behind the glowing screen at Yellow House Cookbook, heading up the website and all things geeky. Though not technically a foodie he is known to enjoy conversation over beer or wine, and he's looking forward to bringing some spirit to your table.
Kelcey Morton
eye-candy & host
Kelcey is a Stanford student who hails from Seattle. She likes living up to Northwestern stereotypes by obsessively drinking Starbucks, listening to depressing acoustic music, and refusing to use an umbrella in the rain. She adores traveling, Cheez-its, photography, and the smell of clean laundry. She became involved in the Yellow House Cookbook project after learning that it would enable her to eat constantly - an activity that is not only important for survival but also just plain entertaining. Many people refer to her only as “Smiles;” when you meet her, you will see why!
Krista Lee
token minority & host
Krista is bewildered by purple carrots, can easily devour two tuna apple sandwiches and would love a conversation with the Dalai Lama about the essence of heart. She once ate Corn Pops cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner for two weeks straight - you could call cereal an obsession. She dreams of one day visiting the factory that makes her beloved gummy octopus and hopes they allow her to go home with three gallons' worth of their "mistake" gummies. Taking a ride in the proposed space elevator would complete her life. It doesn't matter how golden or tasty they are, you can't get her to eat the ends of french fries!
